I found this great video from guitarworld comparing the original 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard with a 2002 reissue, what they say is true, the 1959 Gibson Les Paul is the holy grail, the sustain is amazing the wood has aged perfectly, check out the video here The Tone Difference: 1959 Gibson Les Paul at www.guitarheroesgear.com

Since the start of the blog Guitar Heroes Gear has developed alot, we’ve:
- Posted consistently with new guitar gear videos giving a bigger and bigger archive of guitar gear videos
- Changed the layout a few times and now settled with the current layout
- Added a Search Guitarist page to make it easier for people to navigate
- Now hopefully with this new domain we can get our search rankings higher and go alongside great sites such as guitar geek and gear heads.

Bumblefoot from Guns N’ Roses Interviews

Bumblefoot the guitarist from Guns N’ Roses has made a name for himself as a virtuso guitarist, how else did Axl find him. Before Guns N’ Roses Bumblefoot released a couple of solo albums which had revolutionary guitar playing, he only became known to the mainstream when he joined Guns N’ Roses.

Bumblefoot in my opinion is an underrated guitarists, he’s not just a shredder, and he’s definetely better than Slash in knowledge and technical ability, as a musician well that comes to preference, Slash is still my favourite cause of his killer riffs and solos.

Bumblefoot uses Vigier guitars and Line6 Vetta II for the Guns N’ Roses Chinese Democracy album, and is now trying out the new Gibson Darkfire.
